The Dame stood just inside the door, looking uncertain. Uncertain of my office, a decaying 2nd floor joint in a decaying building on a corner of an alley and a business avenue, which one is which took a discerning eye. Mostly she was uncertain about me.
“Who is Sam Spade?”
I tried the coy answer.
“According to Yokipedia Sam Spade is a Yoville private investigator who set up shop in Y Town August of '08. He solved many cases, sometimes getting paid with rares, but usually getting stiffed. Two notable cases was when he revealed the Sweets Factory was a plot by aliens to infiltrate the Earth, and another showed that Yoville was a front for a cult of dog worshippers belonging to the Zynga Cult of the Himalayyaddas. Currently he is spinning a tale of intrigue and retribution, leaving installments each day for select neighbors. His "meat sack" in the "real world" goes by the monniker Will Greenleaf, living in the certainly mythical town of Canby, Oregon. He loves drinking Old Noob bourbon and long walks in foggy alleys.”
